Kerro's Crusade Day Journal

Day 9, October 20
Busselton to half-way to Nannup

Another big fry-up after a very big night with Kim Hughes (the Captain) getting BOG and Ken Judge (the Coach) receiving the runner-up awards for their efforts.

Ross Glendinning was reported and suspended until Pemberton for his efforts in effecting the Captain and the Coach and was awarded the honorary title of  “Sea Gull”.

Celebrity walkers today included Colin Funky Miller, Shane Woewodin, Paul Blocker Wilson and Kim Hughes.

Heather Joppek and Rob Wright from MND joined us today and Heather helped Cath with lunches and housekeeping whilst Rob walked with us.

Ken Williamson arranged for us to spend the evening at Amelia Park, a horse agistment property – and were we gob smacked!  Unfortunately Peter Walsh   the owner was in Ghana but Glen his manager and Wanger cooked us up a great BBQ.  The property was magnificent and we were treated like royals!  Thank you so much Peter and your gang.  The generosity of people along the way still manages to stagger us!

Ross Whiteman was skipper for the night and Heather, Rob, Lois and Graham joined us for the evening also.

Kerro’s medal was given to Ken Williamson for his quiet enthusiasm and get up and go attitude.  Ken is also videoing our trip!

The Downlo Award was awarded to Meggsy (Cliff) for his attempt to organize a coup d’etat!
